Sandra Prašnikar’s Design Selected for Career Education Day Branding
RIT Croatia’s Career Education Day (CED) is an annual event connecting students with industry leaders, providing valuable networking opportunities and potential job placements. This year, the event featured a fresh visual identity designed by New Media Design student Sandra Prašnikar.
A Real-World Design Challenge for Students
Dr. Jurica Dolić, a faculty member in the New Media Design program, spearheaded an initiative to give students a real-world design project. Students were challenged to create a comprehensive visual identity package for Career Education Day, encompassing a logo, secondary design elements, and applications for various materials.
Sandra Prašnikar’s Winning Concept
Sandra Prašnikar’s design emerged as the winner. Her concept effectively captured the essence of Career Education Day, aligning seamlessly with RIT Croatia’s branding. Initially, her design featured a paw complemented by a star, symbolizing ambition and positivity. However, Sandra refined her concept, incorporating constellations to represent the connections and collaborations fostered at the event.
