Honoring Hospitality and Tourism Management Students’ Achievements

The annual Eta Sigma Delta (ESD) Induction Ceremony at RIT Croatia recently celebrated the achievements of 13 outstanding Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) students. Held at the Bellevue Hotel in Dubrovnik, the event recognized their academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to service.

A Night of Recognition and Community Building

The ceremony showcased the inductees’ unique backgrounds and aspirations through personalized presentations. Professor Milena Kužnin, mentor of the RIT Croatia ESD chapter, emphasized the importance of the event in acknowledging individual accomplishments and fostering a strong sense of community within the hospitality and tourism field. The new members inducted into Eta Sigma Delta include: Tin Butić, Tita Butić, Mira Carnevale, Kaitlin Chimney, Elena Jaušić, Jana Krstić, Lukrecija Novaković, Marta Ožegović, Ines Palunčić, Kira Rimaj, Viktoria Roglić, Iman Vreto, and Domenica Vukić. This diverse group of students represents the future of the industry.

In addition to student inductees, the ceremony welcomed Mr. David Taylor, CEO of Adriatic Luxury Hotels, as a Distinguished Member. This honor recognizes his significant contributions to the hospitality industry and his unwavering support for academic and professional excellence. Mr. Taylor’s presence underscored the strong connection between RIT Croatia and leading industry professionals.

Founded by the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (ICHRIE), Eta Sigma Delta is a prestigious international honor society with over 90 chapters worldwide.
