Nursing programs strongly depend on practice-based learning, allowing students to utilize their new knowledge, clinical skills, and abilities in their own areas of interest and career ambition. In addition to this, interprofessional practice is a top priority for these programs to ensure graduates are fully prepared to collaborate with all those involved in patient care. Placement & Job Opportunities – grow your Nursing career
Nurses are in high demand in the UK, and RGU undertakes a variety of placements in locations throughout Scotland and abroad. All of their undergraduate courses offer placements in practice, for up to 50% of the program. Placement experience is essential for graduates who are fit for purpose in a rapidly changing health and social care environment. These clinical placements allow theory to be put into practice and the development of essential skills in students.
Entry Requirements
- General Secondary Education Certificate – 60% required
- General Education Diploma
- Candidates with PAAET Institute Diploma Certificate with a minimum grade of C+ or CGPA 2.5/4.0 (if obtained prior to 2015) or CGPA 2.3 / 4.0 (if obtained in 2005 and onwards) may be considered for year 1 entry
- Candidates with a PAAET College Diploma with a minimum grade of C+ or CGPA 2.5/4.0 (if obtained prior to 2015) or CGPA 2.3 / 4.0 (if obtained in 2005 and onwards) may be considered for year 2 entry
- IELTS score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in each area
