Students in the School of Law and Social Sciences at Alte University can gain international experience through the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) focused on Global Citizenship in Multicultural Academic Settings. This initiative, hosted in partnership with “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia, offers a unique combination of virtual learning and physical mobility to enhance intercultural competencies and leadership skills.

Program Structure and Learning Objectives

The Erasmus+ BIP is designed to integrate virtual collaboration with a short-term physical mobility phase. This structure allows students to develop effective communication skills and global cooperation abilities while analyzing challenges related to education, social justice, and sustainable development. Key learning outcomes include:

  • Understanding how culture influences communication and learning styles.
  • Collaborating effectively within multicultural teams.
  • Recognizing stereotypes and unconscious bias.

Eligibility and Funding Options

Applications are open to Bachelor’s and Master’s students enrolled in Law or Psychology programs who possess English language proficiency at a B2 level or higher. Participants must commit to both the virtual and physical phases of the program.

The program offers funding for five participants:

  • Fully Funded: 2 students will have expenses covered by Erasmus+ and Alte University.
  • Co-funded: 3 students will cover airfare expenses, while other costs are supported.

Application Requirements and Deadlines

To apply, candidates must prepare several documents and submit them as a single ZIP folder via email. The selection process is merit-based, evaluating academic performance, language skills, and interview performance.

  • Motivation letter (approx. 500 words)
  • Proof of Enrollment and Transcript of Records
  • Recommendation letter from Alte University academic staff
  • Proof of English proficiency (B2 level or higher)

Selection and Timeline

  • Physical Mobility: May 11–15, 2026 (Alba Iulia, Romania)
